A better University–Rosedale starts with people stepping up. Toronto’s rebate program means your contribution costs less than you’d expect.

Give $100. Get $75 back.

The City of Toronto’s contribution rebate program refunds a large portion of your donation after the election. Most donors get most of it back.

Option 1

Give online

Pick an amount and see what it really costs you after the City’s rebate.

A $100 donation gets an estimated $75 rebate, so it really costs you about $25.

Your details

The City requires your name and address so the campaign can issue your contribution receipt. We never see or store your card details.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your card details never touch this site. A small portion of online donations goes toward transaction fees.

Option 2

Send an e-transfer

Prefer to skip the transaction fee? Send an Interac e-transfer and include your details in the message so your rebate can be processed.

Send to

Include in the message

  • Full name

  • City + province
  • Phone number
  • Email address

The fine print.

You must be an individual (not a corporation or union) donating your own funds.

Your billing address must be in Ontario, and your information must be complete and accurate for the rebate.

The maximum total contribution to one candidate is $1,200, which qualifies for a $641.67 rebate.

Donations below $27 don’t qualify for the City’s rebate program.

Incomplete donation information can void the contribution.

Rebates are issued by the City of Toronto after the election, not by the campaign.
